Polynesia in Sardinia ? Tahiti or Cala Brandinchi !

Cala Brandinchi alias Tahiti is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia and only 2 minutes far away from our Residence Lu Nibareddu !

From our Residence you follow the road 125 in direction San Teodoro, after not even 5 minutes turn left at the crossing in direction Capo Coda Cavallo. Cala Brandinchi with its white, sandy beach and its crystal clear water is located before Capo Coda Cavallo.

Cala Brandinchi is a popular spot for snorkeling. A part of it consists of dunes and pine woods, it’s a nice place for families with children.

Cala Brandinchi is one of the best known beaches.  In Summer the access is restricted to a certain number of cars and people.  The best time to visit the beach is in low season or in main season after a windy day when Tahiti shows its most beautiful side.

If you love beaches, snorkeling , beach volleyball and birdwatching Cala Brandinchi is the right place for you  . You can admire numerous herons and flamingos there.

A curiosity at the end:  according to historians Garibaldi escaped from Caprera  on October 17^th, 1867 and headed south to Cala Brandinchi.

Locals helped him to embark to try to liberate Rome.
