Sassi Piatti (Cala Girgolu)

Sassi Piatti is situated near the beach of Porto Taverna and reachable from the Cala Girgolu beach. It is called Sassi Piatti (flat rocks) because of its flat granitic rock formations and an ideal place for hiking and easy trekking tours.

Monte Nieddu

It takes 30 minutes by car to reach the granitic mountain Monte Nieddu(Nature Park of Usinava). You can explore the mountain on foot or on your mountain bike and admire waterfalls, natural small lakes and woods. The view over the landscape is breathtaking.

The lagoon of San Teodoro

It takes 12 minutes by car to reach the lagoon of San Teodoro. The fauna of the lagoon is very interesting. If you are passionate about bird watching, you will be able to observe pink flamingos, seabirds, great blue herons, kingfishers and many other species. A guided boat trip will lead you to the fish and oyster farm of San Teodoro.
