Also in 2018 the green flags have been awarded to Sardinia and other regions in Italy.

The beaches were checked by italian pediatricinas and had to fulfill the following requirements: shallow and clear water near the shore, sand to build towers and castles, lifeguards and rescue boats, toys, a place to change the diapers and to breastfeed the babies, and areas dedicated to the adults like restaurants, bars, etc. A perfect spot where the children can play and the adults can relax.

Capo Coda Cavallo and La Cinta in San Teodoro near our Residence have been awarded as child friendly beaches!

Capo Coda Cavallo Beach

The beach is situated in the marine park of Tavolara and reachable by car in 11 minutes. The beach has white, fine sand and shallow water and it is protected from the wind. Beach facilities: sunbed- and umbrella hire, pedalo boat, canoe and rubber dinghy hire.

La Cinta Beach

It takes 13 minutes by car to reach the La Cinta Beach in San Teodoro. The beach with its dunes stretches out for 3 kilometers and is surrounded by mediterranean plants. La Cinta is famous for its azure blue, shallow water. Beach facilities: bar, restaurants, kitezone, surf and windsurf school, sunbed- and umbrella hire, pedalo boat, canoe and rubber dinghy hire.
